Eucalyptus plywood
Eucalyptus plywood is a high-strength artificial board made from fast-growing eucalyptus wood. With its excellent hardness, density, and processing performance, it is widely used in construction, furniture manufacturing, and decoration engineering
Physical properties:
- Eucalyptus plywood exhibits excellent physical properties, with high density, strong stability, and excellent processing adaptability, making it a widely used high-performance engineering board in the fields of construction and furniture.
Appearance and touch:
- Due to the fact that the air dry density of eucalyptus wood is between 0.65-0.75g/cm ³, which is significantly higher than that of poplar wood (about 0.4-0.5g/cm ³), the plywood produced has a heavy hand feel, crisp knocking sound, and strong compressive and bending resistance.
After fine sanding treatment, the surface is smooth and delicate, without burrs or pilling, and the touch is uniform and consistent. It is not easy to absorb water and expand in humid environments, with a measured humidity expansion rate of only 0.8% (compared to 3% for ordinary plywood), demonstrating excellent dimensional stability.
High quality products pass the "true six no" screening criteria (no warping, no decay, no insect holes, no layering, no voids, no bubbles), ensuring that each board has reliable physical consistency.
Processing performance:

Eucalyptus plywood has demonstrated excellent process adaptability in practical applications, especially suitable for automated production and high-strength construction scenarios:
Machinability: Conventional woodworking tools can be used for sawing, drilling, planing, and carving, and the processing is not prone to edge breakage or cracking, making it suitable for customized component production.
Strong adhesion: Eucalyptus fibers have moderate pores, which facilitate the penetration of adhesives and form a dual bond of "mechanical interlocking+chemical bonding". When using phenolic glue (WBP), the measured bonding strength reached 1.69MPa, far exceeding the national standard of 0.7MPa, and it can pass the 72 hour boiling water test without delamination.
Good hot pressing stability: Under hot pressing conditions of 120-135 ℃ and 0.7-1.0MPa, the interlayer misalignment rate is less than 0.5%, ensuring the flatness and dimensional accuracy of the finished board, suitable for continuous flat pressing production lines.
Application Areas:
Outdoor building structure：
Used for making outdoor flooring, terraces, fences, and wooden house frames, especially suitable for humid or rainy climates. Its high density and corrosion resistance can effectively resist long-term wind and sun exposure.
Container and transportation equipment flooring:
Eucalyptus plywood is commonly used for container bottom plates, which can withstand heavy loads and frequent loading and unloading, and has excellent wear resistance and structural stability. E1 environmentally friendly adhesive ensures low formaldehyde emissions and meets international environmental standards.
Other uses:
It can be used to make outdoor chairs, flower bed frames, trail paving and other public facilities. It can be used as a concrete pouring template in construction sites, and can be used to build greenhouse supports, poultry house walls or floors.
