Lightweight & economical to ship
Air-dried density of approx. 0.40–0.47 g/cm³ (350–450 kg/m³ at 12% moisture content) makes it one of the lightest hardwoods, reducing freight costs and simplifying handling and installation.
Stable wide-format panels
Edge-glued construction distributes natural wood movement across the full panel, minimizing warping, cupping and splitting compared with single wide boards.
Fine, uniform grain
ale pink to pinkish-brown tone with a soft lustre that darkens gracefully with age; accepts paints, stains and clear finishes evenly for a smooth, upscale result.
Cost-effective solid wood
The look and feel of solid hardwood at lower cost than solid wide boards, with better material yield per log.
