Rubber Wood Finger Jointed Wood Board
Thai or domestically produced rubber wood short materials are dried, combed, coated, and longitudinally spliced to effectively avoid the problem of natural solid wood cracking and deformation. The mainstream products use E0 grade environmentally friendly adhesive, which has extremely low formaldehyde emissions and is suitable for long-term indoor use. The standard size is usually 2440 × 1220mm, with a thickness between 10-45mm and a moisture content controlled between 8% -12% to ensure adaptability to different climatic environments.
Physical properties:
- Medium hardness, structurally stable
Density and Hardness: Rubber wood belongs to the category of medium to low density hardwood, with a hardness of approximately 960-1000 lbf (Jenca hardness). Although lower than oak (1200-1300 lbf), it is higher than fir and has good compressive and nail holding abilities.
Moisture content control: After steam drying treatment, the moisture content is usually controlled at 6% -12%, effectively improving dimensional stability and reducing the risk of cracking and deformation, especially in dry environments in the north.
Stability performance: Using finger joint technology for splicing, combined with high-quality glue (such as MDI glue), the overall stress distribution of the board is uniform, the bending strength is high, and it is not easy to warp after long-term use.
Appearance and touch:

Color and texture: The wood is light yellow to light brown in color, with a straight and uniform fine texture, similar to maple or birch, visually fresh and natural, suitable for creating warm styles such as natural wood and Nordic.

The key to environmental protection lies in adhesive: wood itself is non-toxic, but adhesive is required for processing. High end products use MDI glue or wood powder glue, and the formaldehyde emission can be as low as ≤ 0.025mg/m ³ (ENF level), far superior to national standards, making it safe to use in children's rooms.
Moisture and insect proof treatment: High quality boards will undergo high-temperature steaming and de sugar treatment to reduce sugar content and avoid attracting insects; Combined with a moisture-proof paint layer, it is suitable for humid environments such as kitchens and bathrooms.

Rubber wood finger joint board is an ideal material for making high-end solid wood furniture such as dining tables, wardrobes, bookcases, bedside tables, etc. Its texture is natural and the color is soft.
